Alfred devoted almost 20 years of his life to the United States Navy, serving in both the OIF and OEF campaigns. During his transition to civilian life, Alfred sustained a serious spinal injury in which he lost use of his legs. Not one to be held back, Alfred sought a way to maintain and improve the function of his hands as he looked to his future. It was determined that he could benefit from the use of SaeboFlex orthotics. This piece of therapeutic equipment maintains the strength in the arm and hand, and assists with tasks like grasping objects. SALUTE, INC. was able to purchase this equipment for Alfred to aid in his recovery.
SALUTE was happy to assist a veteran who has served our country so proudly and despite his injury, sought a productive and independent life after his military service.
