A Marine veteran with over eight years of service, Sergeant Roberto and his family needed to move to a new town in order to get him closer to Veteran Administrative services and have a safer neighborhood for his son. Roberto and his wife rented out their current house, and secured a small rental home 50 miles away. The move provided more access to VA services for Roberto, better schools for his son and an overall lower cost of living. On a fixed income, the move put the family in a financial bind and they contacted SALUTE, INC. SALUTE provided financial assistance with the rent in order to get them established in their new home and on their way to a better life.
