Sergeant Stephen served over 5 years in the Army Airborne Division, and then served our country again in the Army National Guard. After retiring from the military, Stephen worked for many years in the civilian sector, until his service-related PTSD and depression overwhelmed him. His mental health struggles caused him to lose his job. Seeking help, Stephen was able to find mental health treatment through the VA, and enrolled in an outpatient program.
Stephen asked SALUTE, INC. for assistance with housing costs as he continued his therapy and searched for a new job. Thanks to the funding provided by our generous donors, SALUTE was able to pay Stephen’s rent, tiding him over until he finds a new job.
