Major David spent over 12 years serving our country as a proud Marine, which included four tours of duty in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. During his time in military, he severely injured his back, which required five different surgeries to repair the damage. Compounding the family’s stress was his wife’s long term illness. Looking for assistance with mental health issues, he requested help with rent and dog boarding fees. For less than $1,100, SALUTE was able to resolve these financial obstacles. David wrote:
