NEW HOPE

NEW HOPE

Jeremy served in the Army for several years, took a break, and then re-enlisted as an Army Chaplain for an infantry battalion engaged in regular combat with the Taliban and other terrorist groups.  During his years of service, Jeremy provided support to his fellow soldiers but also absorbed many hurtful situations, leading to a significant struggle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).  A hardworking father of 10 children (blended, adopted and birthed), Jeremy was encouraged to join a hospital-based mental health program.  Taking time off from work was a financial burden for his family, so Jeremy was referred to SALUTE for assistance, and we were able to help with mortgage expenses.

“I finished the program and it has made a dramatic difference in my life. I am eternally grateful. I learned a lot about PTSD and through the cutting-edge therapy at the hospital I am experiencing significant symptom relief which has affected my life and my family in very positive ways. The comprehensive nature of the program and the referrals have been very helpful. I am indebted to SALUTE for the support they have given me and my family during this time. I have struggled with serious PTSD symptoms for a decade and I have new hope thanks to your help.

Enclosed is a photo of me in Afghanistan with one of my Soldiers, as well as pictures of my wife and our beautiful children.”                                                                                                                                                                                                          Veteran Jeremy
