Veteran Robin served over twelve years as a Maintenance Management Analyst. The Air Force maintains tens of thousands of pieces of equipment in support of their missions and daily operations. And all of the maintenance activities must operate within fixed budgets and defined schedules. Robin’s job was to determine the cost efficiency of these activities.
Retiring from the Air Force in 2019, Robin and her family of five settled back in her home state. They were able to stay financially afloat until the COVID-19 epidemic reduced their income. Beyond seeking assistance at local food banks, Robin contacted SALUTE for help with her mortgage payment. SALUTE was able to pay half of her mortgage, easing the family’s financial burden.
