Army Staff Sergeant Travis P. retired in 2014 after a long and distinguished career that included service in Baghdad and Mosul. Due to the injuries sustained during his time in the Army, Travis and his family were receiving retirement and disability pay. However, his government benefits account was hacked and his monthly pay was not received.
Travis reached out to SALUTE, INC. for temporary financial assistance during his pay gap. SALUTE provided mortgage and car payments for one month – bridging the family of six during this financial crunch until his appropriate pay was resumed.
