Please join us Saturday, September 11, 2021 for a 20th anniversary 9/11 remembrance honoring Fallen Heroes and the sacrifices of the Gold Star families.  The ceremony will include live music and the reading of the names of our Fallen Heroes.

The ceremony begins at 10:30AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights (302 N. Dunton Avenue).

Immediately following the ceremony, join us at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library (500 N. Dunton Avenue) for the opening of Portrait of a Soldier exhibit.

Portrait of a Soldier is an exhibit featuring hand-drawn portraits of the 311 Illinois men and women killed in Iraq and Afghanistan and other countries around the globe since 9/11. This profoundly moving exhibit will be on display at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library from September 11 through September 30.

The ceremony and exhibit are made possible by Governor Pat Quinn, SALUTE, INC., Arlington Heights Memorial Library, First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, Veterans Memorial Committee of Arlington Heights, Arlington Heights American Legion Post 208, John Hersey High School, St. Viator High School and Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce.
